Brief profile of Mr. Ram Narayan Upreti

Mr. Ram Narayan Uprety is the current Treasurer of NCDM. Mr. He is an entrepreneur and trainer by profession and has involved in Information Technology and Audio-Visual training, production and broadcasting. He is also the Founder President of Lions Club of Kathmandu Heart (2003). Mr. Uprety has received leadership training by the Senior Leadership Institute organized by the Lions Clubs International in 2005 in Ahmadabad, India and also in 2010 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is the CEO of Travel & Events Nepal which is one of the leading MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences and Events) Tourism Consultants in Nepal, and has successfully completed international MICE seminars including IWA, IAEG ARC-11, HKT, ICTP etc. He is also the ex-Board of Director of New Millennium Academy, Kathmandu.

Mr. Uprety has campaigned and organized many Disaster Preparedness awareness activities in partnership with Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), Lions Clubs International MD 325 and Geology Department of Tribhuvan University. He is an operator of HAM Radio in Nepal (Call Sign 9N1RN). The amateur radio operation is critical during any large disaster emergency when in most cases traditional communication system breaks down and disrupted.
